CALLING OF MINISTERIAL STUDIES

Calling And Ministry Studies (CAMS) helps the applicants determine if they are called to clergy ministry, as well as providing knowledge about ministry. The individual study for applicant include three activities:

Conducting personal devotions about calling and ministry

Completing three training courses

Writing papers about their calling and understanding of ministry

Spouses will attend the three seminars and will write the papers about their calling and understanding of the ministry. Individuals interested in pursing CAMS should speak to their pastor, who will submit the candidate's Endorsement Form

CAMS EXEMPTION

The request for exemption should include:

Identification of the courses that are similar to those in CAMS and where they are taken

Description of the experience that was similar to CAMS

Verification of the experience by the Administrative Bishop

Ministerial Development/School of Ministry Department will make the decision regarding the exmpeiton and will notify teh Administrative Bishop of the decision.
